So recently I watched a movie called Good Hair. It has caused a stir inside and out of the black community. People nationwide are being challenged to evaluate the meaning of "good hair" and what differentiates that hair from bad hair. Throughout the documentary, Chris Rock talks to everyone from the people who make or donate the hair that women use for weave and wigs to the people who buy it at their local beauty supply store or salon. He also covers topics like perms and the chemicals used inside of it, includes celebrity insight about their own hair and maintenance and highlights a hair show taken place in Atlanta, Georgia. The documentary is brilliant and Chris Rock captures the epitome of genius while addressing a sensitive subject.
